The Binational Migration Funders centers its efforts around four pillars of work to meet current needs and sustaining change for immigrants and refugees crossing our region.
These four pillars evolve as the group goes further in its learning journey of sustained, enduring change for immigrants.
- Funding The group actively seeks to increase investment into migrant and immigrant rights and wellbeing, and serves as a pooled funding hub for immigrant and migrant funders in our region.
- Advocacy Binational Migration Funders actively track policy changes impacting immigrants and migrants and advocate for policies that are equitable to all.
- Communications & Narrative Binational Migration Funders combat the harmful rhetoric of the notion that a human being is illegal through investing in narrative change research and campaigns.
- Immigrant Integration Ensuring that systems of support are in place to allow for immigrants to thrive in our region as their full self.
