Denitza Colores (she/her/ella) is Director of People & Culture at Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties, where she champions inclusive workplace practices and empowers employees to bring their whole selves to work. With over 15 years of human resources leadership experience across nonprofit, healthcare, high-tech, construction and education sectors, Denitza offers a thoughtful and strategic approach to cultivating healthy, purpose-driven organizations.
Holding her SHRM-CP certification, Denitza is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Conflict Resolution and Management at the University of San Diego’s Kroc School. She combines her HR expertise with a peace-building mindset, leveraging her bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to foster belonging, communication and collaboration across teams.
Guided by the principle “Cultura con corazón—culture with heart,” Denitza is committed to aligning organizational systems and individual potential by creating environments where people feel seen, supported and inspired. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys contributing to community-based initiatives and nurturing the next generation of inclusive workplace leaders.
