Caroline joined the Catalyst team as the Finance and Accounting Manager, providing support for precise accounting practices and effective financial planning. A Colorado native, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s in Accountancy from Colorado State University. Beginning her career as a bookkeeper, Caroline assisted small businesses in establishing their financial databases, later progressing to managing more extensive accounting systems for comprehensive financial reporting.
After earning her Master’s in Accountancy, Caroline embarked on a unique career path, serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in Tucson, Arizona. Over two years, she immersed herself in the nonprofit sphere, contributing to her community through grant writing, database management, and data analysis. Caroline places significant value on dependable financial reporting and discovered a fulfilling avenue that unites her affinity for numbers with her commitment to the San Diego community she holds dear from her upbringing.
