Southern Border Coalition Information Session (In-Person)

Join his conversation to learn more about California’s Community Economic Resilience Fund (CERF), particularly the work of the Southern Border Coalition and involvement opportunities for local government and philanthropic organizations.
CERF was created to promote sustainable and equitable recovery from the economic distress of COVID-19. The Fund will support new strategies to diversify local economies and develop sustainable industries that create high-quality, broadly accessible jobs for all Californians. At the state level, CERF is allocating $5 million to each region for this work.
Following a brief overview of the Southern Border Coalition, topics discussed will include:
- Government and philanthropic organization involvement.
- Outreach and engagement opportunities for individuals and organizations.
- Ways to ensure meaningful engagement from North County partners.
