Funder Meeting
Funder-Grantee Relationship Series: Examining Power Dynamics Part Two
Thursday, May 16 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
In the second part of our two-part Funder-Grantee Relationship series, we will continue to dig deeper into examining the inherent power dynamics within funder-grantee relationships, focusing on humility and integrity as a funder. We will discuss how we can put what we discuss into practice, along with how to address blind spots and gaps that may exist in your network.
We will start with an overview of our previous session, followed by reflections from real-world interactions with grantees. Participants from part one will have time to reflect and engage in dialogue about the steps they have taken since our last meeting, including addressing potential hurdles that may have stood in the way of contacting grantees directly.
The program will conclude with an optional networking lunch from 12:00p-1:00p.
The Funder-Grantee Relationship Series of programs aims to foster understanding, empathy, and collaboration. The program is designed for funders who are interested in acknowledging historical imbalances and working collaboratively towards a more equitable future.

This program is designed for members of Catalyst. If you are interested in Catalyst membership, please contact [email protected].
This program is open to those who attended the first session on 3/7, along with any other Catalyst members who want to join in the conversation.
