Celebrating 50 Years of Catalyst

Raise a glass, share a story, and celebrate five decades of doing the work together.

In 1976, a small group of funders came together with a shared belief: that working together can create lasting change in our region. Fifty years later, that belief has grown into Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties — a trusted hub for nearly 100 funders who learn together, lead with purpose, and invest in the long-term vitality of our region. 

This spring, we invite you to join us for a milestone moment: Catalyst’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. Set against the striking backdrop of Venue 808 in Downtown San Diego, the evening will celebrate the energy, leadership, and collective resolve that have propelled our work forward for half a century.  

We will gather in the company of those who care deeply about this region and who are shaping its future every day. Together, we will celebrate accomplishments, enjoy each other’s company, and honor the spirit of collaboration that continues to define and distinguish our network. 

This is more than an anniversary. It’s a tribute to the people who have built and shaped this network, and a timely reminder of what’s possible when we continue to show up, together, in service of our region’s greatest potential.
