Early Childhood Funder Collaborative Meeting

Our first meeting of 2026 will open with a discussion of the Federal Child Care Funding Freeze and Regulatory Rollback and what these changes could mean for early childhood systems in our region. We will build on insights from the funder briefing referenced above on what funders need to know, watch, and be thinking about right now. We will be joined by Rachel Schumacher, MPP, Director of the Raising Child Care Fund of Early Childhood Funders.

There will also be time reserved for participants to share updates, surface collaboration opportunities, and request targeted networking or knowledge support from the group.

The Early Childhood Funder Collaborative is a Catalyst Funder Collaborative that seeks to motivate a sense of urgency around early childhood needs and bring together philanthropists to increase access to high-quality early childhood care and education in the San Diego region.
