This is a meeting of the Binational Migration Funders Collaborative. They seek to ensure the legal and wellness needs of all immigrants and refugees who pass from Mexico through San Diego and Imperial Counties are met, and advocate for sustainable permanent immigration infrastructure to meet those needs in the future.

This session will begin on the 9th floor of the library with a 30-minute tour of the Occupy Thirdspace II exhibition led by curator Sara Solaimani. Afterwards, the group will continue regular business downstairs in the 1st floor to the Mary Hollis Clark Conference.

Occupy Thirdspace II: Plástica y palabra en TJ/SD explores the relationship between the visual arts and palabra (word). It documents the history of this relationship from the late 1980s to the present, through the work of artists who have lived and worked in Tijuana and San Diego

Target Audience

This meeting is open to all staff and board of Catalyst member organizations and eligible guests who are interested in funding binational migration issues.
