Funder Meeting
Arts & Intersections Collaborative: Unlocking Social Prescriptions in Our Region
Wednesday, January 22 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Join us to explore how arts programs can transform health, wellbeing, and social connection in our communities. Discover the innovative potential of social prescribing, a powerful approach that links individuals to creative community services to improve lives.
We’ll also introduce an exciting new arts-based social prescribing pilot coming to San Diego and Imperial Counties. Chris Appleton, founder and CEO of Art Pharmacy, will lead a discussion on actionable steps to bring this pilot to life. Whether you’re new to this concept or have engaged in this conversation before, this is your opportunity to learn, collaborate, and invest in new approaches to community health.
Target Audience
Arts & Intersections is a gathering place for any funders working directly in arts and culture as well as those whose work intersects with the myriad needs of the broader creative economy. This session is open to funders, and attendees should come prepared to discuss investment priorities and explore opportunities for partnership.
