Funding Strong Coalitions: Cross-Sector Coalitions That Deliver

This webinar is the second installment in the Funding Strong Coalitions series. In the first session, we explored how funders can support single-sector advocacy coalitions and examined the foundational practices that make coalitions effective, including defining a clear strategic scope and building shared leadership.

In this second webinar, we’ll expand the conversation to cross-sector coalitions—partnerships that bring together organizations from different fields to address complex challenges that no single sector can solve alone. Participants will hear real-world examples of regional funders supporting cross-sector collaborations and explore the unique opportunities and challenges these partnerships present.

Attendees will also continue to gain practical insights into the coalition practices that sustain long-term impact, including establishing effective governance structures, fostering meaningful and continuous member engagement, and planning for sustainability and purposeful exits. This webinar will help funders more confidently support coalition-driven advocacy efforts that advance lasting systems change.
