Do the Work: Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel Day of Service

Are you eager to roll up your sleeves and get your hands in the soil? Come join us for a volunteer day of service at the Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel!

At this event, participants will contribute to the construction of an outdoor kitchen, through partnership with Coastal Roots Farm, and gain invaluable insights into the development of accessible food and food sovereignty initiatives. Led by Emily Burgueno, the esteemed Head Seedkeeper of Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel, you will have the opportunity to learn from her expertise and immerse yourself in the world of sustainable and inclusive food systems.

COVID-19 Policy

For all in-person events, participants are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and all its variants, including any boosters. Unless otherwise required by a venue or vendor, mask use is optional but strongly recommended for participants in transit with others (e.g. buses/vans) and masks will be available for those who need or wish to use them.
