Funder Meeting
Arts & Intersections Funders: Activating Social Prescriptions in Your Ecosystem
Tuesday, November 19 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
Join us for a discussion on arts-based social prescribing, health and wellness, and opportunities for investment in scalable solutions in the San Diego and Imperial County. Social prescribing helps individuals enhance their health, wellbeing, and social connection by linking them to community services like arts programs.
Chris Appleton, founder and CEO of Art Pharmacy, will lead a conversation on the current challenges funders face in behavioral health and youth mental health, highlighting how arts-based social prescribing can address these issues.
This session is open to funders and attendees should come prepared to discuss investment priorities and explore opportunities for partnership.
Arts & Intersections is a gathering place for funders working directly in arts and culture as well as those whose work intersects with the myriad needs of the broader creative economy.
This meeting will be held in person. More details about the location will be shared in the coming weeks.
