Preparing for the GIA 2027 Conference: San Diego–Tijuana Funders Roundtable

In collaboration with Grantmakers in the Arts (GIA), Catalyst members are invited to a community conversation about GIA’s National Conference coming to the San Diego–Tijuana region in October 2027.

Join us for an in-person gathering to connect with fellow arts and culture funders and help inform the themes, content, and regional stories that will be shared with funders from across the country.

GIA is the only national association representing both public and private arts and culture funders—including foundations, government agencies, community foundations, corporate philanthropy, and nonprofit regrantors across the U.S. and Canada. Its National Conference is the centerpiece of GIA’s programming, convening funders, artists, and practitioners to learn together and build relationships. The 2025 conference welcomed more than 700 participants and received strong satisfaction ratings from attendees nationwide.

This session is an opportunity to lift up the cultural communities of the San Diego–Tijuana region and help shape how our binational arts ecosystem is represented on a national stage.
