Do the Work: Kumeyaay Art & Expression
Thursday, July 11 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Haawka/Hello!
For the latest event in our Do the Work series, we invite you to join us at the Kumeyaay Community College Campus, nestled within the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, traditionally known as the village of Maatamo.
Join us for an immersive experience where you’ll hear from Kumeyaay artists and experts, dive into rich knowledge exchanges, and savor a shared meal. This is your chance to make space for authentic Kumeyaay expression and discover opportunities for impactful partnerships between funders and the Kumeyaay Nation.
The day will feature a dynamic program designed to foster meaningful connections and spontaneous moments of collaboration. While there is a structured agenda, we have intentionally left room for organic interactions, ensuring a unique and memorable experience for all.
This special gathering is a collaborative effort, brought to life by Kumeyaay Community College and Catalyst of San Diego & Imperial Counties. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage, learn, and build lasting relationships in a setting that celebrates the vibrant Kumeyaay culture.
