SUMMARY:Climate Funder's Collaborative: Coastal Resilience for San Diego County - Mission Bay and Beyond
DESCRIPTION:- Join the Climate Funders’ Collaborative (Baja/Imperial/San Diego Region) for a network-wide gathering at the Kendall-Frost Marsh Reserve (https://nrs.ucsd.edu/reserves/kendall.html#Maps) in Mission Bay. We will participate in a walking tour with partners leading the ReWild Mission Bay Coalition (https://rewildmissionbay.org/), who have been advocating for a plan to enhance and restore the Bay’s natural wetlands for cleaner water, greater climate resilience, increased carbon sequestration, and improved public access along the public bayfront. We will also hear from partners working on the conservation of San Diego’s coast, and other resilience efforts for our coastal communities.
